Wing Chun Kung Fu Association

NIWCKFA was founded by Grand Master Ting Kwok Kwai more than twenty years ago. Grand Master Ting learned the art of Wing Chun Kuen under the tuition of Chu Shong Tin and trained with the late great Bruce Lee. Grand Master Ting has passed on his knowledge to many students over the years. The association presently has a number of instructors at both junior and senior levels.

Wing Chun Kuen is a tradiontal Chinese martial art. It is a short range, highly effective fighting system, that operates at arms length. The use of traditional weapons is also part of a students training. The association is based in the greater Belfast area and has classes in Belfast and Newtownards. A full grading system is used to progress students from beginner to expert level.

Wing Chun forms - a sneak preview

Wing Chun is founded on a number of forms that allow the student to develop a full range of techniques for fighting at close quarters. This includes using hands, fists, elbows and feet. A number of short movie clips are now available showing some of the association's intructors performing parts of Siu Lim Tao, Chum Kiu and Bil Gee.
